The short version
Mutt makes dental wipes for dogs. They help with plaque, breath, and visibly cleaner teeth. They're not medicine, they're not a substitute for veterinary care, and we don't claim otherwise. If your dog has a health issue, your vet is the right person — not us.
Not veterinary advice
Nothing on trymutt.com — including product pages, blog posts, emails, social media content, customer reviews, and any other written or visual content — is veterinary advice. We're a dental wipe company, not a veterinary clinic.
If you have questions about your dog's health, behavior, or specific medical needs, talk to a licensed veterinarian. Don't delay seeking veterinary care because of something you read on our site.
Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease
Mutt's products are designed to support everyday dental hygiene — lifting plaque, freshening breath, and helping keep teeth visibly cleaner. They are not drugs, not medical devices, and not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, condition, or injury in your dog.
This includes — but isn't limited to — periodontal disease, gum disease, tooth decay, infections, or any other oral or systemic health condition. If you suspect any of these in your dog, your vet is the right next step.
Individual results vary
Every dog is different. Differences in age, breed, diet, existing dental health, daily routine, and how consistently you use the product all affect what you'll see. The "results" we describe (fresher breath in 72 hours, visibly cleaner teeth in two weeks) are typical patterns we see — not guarantees for any individual dog.
If you're not seeing the results you hoped for, our 30-Day Results Guarantee has you covered. See our Refunds & Returns Policy.
Allergies and sensitivities
Our ingredient list is short, simple, and shown openly on every product page. Even so, dogs — like people — can be sensitive to ingredients that are perfectly fine for most others.
Before using Mutt for the first time:
- Read the full ingredient list
- Talk to your vet if your dog has known allergies, is on medication, or has a chronic condition
- Watch for any unusual reaction (swelling, redness, excessive drooling, vomiting, behavioral changes) during the first few uses
Stop using the product and contact your vet if anything seems off.
Dogs with existing health conditions
If your dog has any of the following, talk to your vet before starting Mutt:
- Existing dental disease, oral infection, or recent dental surgery
- Loose, broken, or infected teeth
- Known food allergies or sensitivities
- A chronic medical condition or current medication
- Pregnancy or nursing
- Age under 12 weeks
Mutt is designed for healthy adult dogs as part of a regular dental hygiene routine. It's not a substitute for professional dental cleaning, extractions, or any other veterinary procedure.
Website content
Blog posts, articles, guides, social media posts, emails, and any other educational content we publish are for informational purposes only. They reflect our point of view, our research at the time of writing, and general guidance — not personalized advice for your specific dog.
We do our best to keep content accurate and up to date. We can't guarantee that everything is current, complete, or applicable to your situation.
Customer reviews and testimonials
Reviews and testimonials shown on our site reflect the personal experiences of individual customers. They are real, but they are not typical results, medical claims, or guarantees. Your dog's experience may differ.
We don't pay for reviews and we don't edit them to be more flattering. We may shorten reviews for length or fix typos, but we don't change the substance.
External links
Our site, blog, and emails may include links to third-party websites — for things like research papers, news articles, or partner resources. We share these because we think they're useful, but we don't control them and we don't endorse everything on them. Clicking an external link is at your own discretion.
No professional relationship
Reading our website, buying our products, or contacting our customer service team does not create a veterinarian-patient relationship, a medical advice relationship, or any other professional advisory relationship between you and Mutt.
Updates to this page
We update this page when our products, content, or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
